The Bright Lights Kids program has received donated stockings full of goodies each year for Christmas. This year would be the first of many years that this was unable to happen. However, a week before the annual Christmas party, the Bright Lights Kids program received a donation of goodie bags matching the EXACT number of children in our program! What a complete surprise and blessing.
Bright Lights Kids promotes positive youth development through personal and educational enrichment services. Throughout the school year, youth participants meet weekly with volunteer personal and academic mentors. After their tutoring session the children and mentors share dinner together at Lower Lights Ministries.
