Community LEarning Center
Facilitating a safe space for youth to be seen and heard.
Program
Overview
God has uniquely and intentionally created each one of the youth in the Hilltop community with so much potential in life. He has given them unique gifts, passions, personalities, strengths, and aptitudes. They each have been given unique gifts, passions, personalities, strengths, and aptitudes. One of the biggest barriers that prevents youth from flourishing is a lack of safety (physical, emotional, mental, relational). Feeling safe in each of these areas is one of the most basic human needs that needs to be met before they are able to experience healthy, holistic growth in their lives.
Our purpose and mission is to create an intentional, safe place for teenagers where they are able to experience holistic growth into the fullness of who they have the potential to become. A few times a week, the Community Learning Center will be open after school for teenagers to hang out, build relationships, engage in enrichment activities, and eat dinner.
